How to Join
Joining SHR
Once you have read about who we are and what we do, we hope you will consider joining SHR and supporting our work. Many of our services including the website are also available to non-members. However, in order to survive, we need the income from membership subscriptions. Please note that you don't have to be Scottish, or resident in Scotland, to become a member.

So if you believe SHR provides a quality service, please join us. A subscription costs £8 (Senior) or £2 (Junior / Student / Unwaged). Plus it is £4 each for second and subsequent senior members living at the same address as the first senior member and opting to receive one copy of SHR's paper publications.

You can pay your subscription by posting a cheque together with a completed membership form to the Membership Secretary (I A Nimmo, 5 Whitehouse Terrace, Edinburgh EH9 2EU). The membership form is available for download either as a Word document or as a pdf file.

Alternatively you can do the whole thing electronically by (a) e-mailing a completed membership form to Scottish Hill Runners; and (b) sending your subscription to the SHR’s bank account by on-line banking. The relevant form, together with further instructions, is available for download as a Rich Text Format file.
